Charlotte Cottage is a thoughtfully refurbished two-bedroom home set along a quiet lane in Upper Oddington, a small and unspoilt Cotswold village just outside Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. Retaining its period character while offering modern comfort, the cottage provides a calm base for guests who want to explore the North Cotswolds at a gentler pace.
Sleeping up to four guests, the cottage suits couples, friends or small families. Interiors are warm and welcoming, with ground-floor living spaces, a wood-burning stove and a private outdoor seating area to the rear. Walking routes begin close by, and well-known pubs and market towns are within easy reach.
The main living area is generous and comfortable, centred around a traditional inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove. There’s space to relax, dine together and unwind after a day out, with comfortable seating and a large UHD television creating an easy, lived-in feel.
The kitchen is bright, practical and well stocked with quality cookware, crockery and everyday appliances. Designed for ease rather than show, it works well for relaxed breakfasts and simple suppers at home. A coffee machine and wine fridge add a little extra comfort for longer stays.
Upstairs, two calm and comfortable king-size bedrooms provide restful places to unwind. Both are simply finished, with luxury bedding, ample storage and a soft, neutral palette. The principal bedroom also includes a vanity desk.

Accessibility note: as with many traditional Cotswold cottages, the staircase is fairly steep and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The Fox at Oddington is within walking distance and well regarded for its relaxed atmosphere and good food. A short drive away, The Porch House in Stow-on-the-Wold offers characterful interiors and seasonal menus in one of England’s oldest inns.
Charlotte Cottage is well placed for exploring the North Cotswolds. Daylesford Organic is close by for farm shops and cafés, while Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh offer antique shops, independent boutiques and direct rail links to London.
