Refund Policy
Effective date: 23rd March 2025

This Refund Policy governs refunds for holiday home bookingsand local produce purchased through www.arlingtonandrow.co.uk, operated by Arlington & RowLtd. It applies alongside our Terms and Conditions. By using our platform, youagree to this policy.

Holiday Home Bookings

Cancellation Terms
If you can’t attend your holiday home booking, refunds depend on when youcancel:

  • 8 weeks or more before arrival: Full refund.
  • 4 weeks before arrival: 50% refund.
  • 2 weeks or less before arrival: No refund.

Refund Process
If eligible, we’ll refund your original payment method within 7 days, subjectto your bank’s processing times.

Eligible Refund Reasons
You may qualify for a refund if:

  • We fail to provide the agreed holiday home or service;
  • We significantly change or omit a key part of the booking after confirmation, making it unfit for purpose;
  • The holiday home poses a clear safety or health risk.

For cancellations due to inability to attend, the abovetime-based terms apply.

Ineligible Refund Reasons
No refund if:

  • You arrive late or miss the booking;
  • You cancel within 2 weeks of arrival;
  • You subjectively dislike the holiday home after arrival.

Disputes
If you’re unhappy with the booking, we’ll facilitate communication between youand us to resolve issues fairly. We decide refund eligibility and amounts basedon the issue’s nature.

Local Produce Purchases

Faulty Goods (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

  • Within 30 days: Return faulty goods for a full refund.
  • After 30 days: Request a repair or replacement; if that’s not possible, you may get a partial or full refund.
  • Proof: For the first 6 months, we assume the fault existed at purchase unless proven otherwise. After 6 months, you must prove it.

Online Purchases (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

  • 14-day cooling-off period: From the day after delivery, you can return goods for any reason and get a full refund. Notify us within 14 days at rebecca@arlingtonandrow.co.uk.
  • Refund timeframe: We’ll refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back or proof of return, using your original payment method (no fees).

General Terms for Produce

  • Goods must match their description and be of satisfactory quality.
  • Returns are at your cost unless faulty.

Other Terms

  • We’re not an insurance provider—consider travel insurance for bookings.
  • Refunds aren’t transferable.
  • We act as a facilitator for bookings and aren’t liable for issues beyond our control.
  • We may update this policy anytime. Changes will be posted online or emailed. Pre-change claims will still be processed.
