Loveview Cottage is a thoughtfully finished two-bedroom home in the heart of Painswick, with open views across the village, St Mary’s Church and the Slad Valley beyond. Recently brought to the market, it combines classic Cotswold character with a calm, modern interior, creating a comfortable base for couples, friends or guests travelling with dogs.
Sleeping up to four, the cottage feels quietly settled rather than showy. It’s a place designed for slower mornings, walks straight from the door and evenings spent by the fire, with the landscape always in view.
The main living area is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating arranged around the fireplace. Large windows draw in the light and frame the view, giving the space a relaxed, open feel throughout the day.
The kitchen is modern and practical, set up for easy, everyday use. A Nespresso coffee machine is included for unhurried mornings, and the layout works well for relaxed meals after a day out walking or exploring the village.
The cottage has two well-proportioned double bedrooms, each simply finished to create a calm place to rest. Crisp linens and thoughtful lighting make the rooms comfortable for longer stays as well as short breaks.
There are two bathrooms, both well appointed and designed to make shared stays easy, whether travelling as a couple or with friends.
Accessibility note: bedrooms and bathrooms are accessed by stairs, which may not suit guests with reduced mobility.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Loveview Cottage. Bowls and treats are provided, and excellent walking routes begin close by, including paths through Painswick and into the Slad Valley.
